DIKTI Application to Taipei Tech

Taipei Tech is proud to be a participant of the Taiwan-Indonesian Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) scholarship scheme and warmly welcomes qualified students who are sponsored by the program to undertake graduate studies (master’s and doctoral degree programs) in Taiwan.

English Taught Degree Programs

Currently, Taipei Tech offers the following English taught degree programs :

How to apply

*Note the application period and follow the instructions accordingly.

DIKTI Application to Taipei Tech: January 1 ~ April 10

Step 1 :

Apply to Taipei Tech by following the steps below :

Step 2 :

Under the Scholarship Section of the online application form, please select “Other Scholarships” and put in "DIKTI" in the blank for "Name of Scholarship".

Step 3 :

After completing the online application form, if you require a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to apply for DIKTI scholarship, please write to intstudy@ntut.edu.tw and provide your online application number if it is available.

Step 4 :

Prepare and send all the required documents listed below for application by post to the Office of International Affairs as soon as possible :

  • Study Plan : Write and submit a minimum one-page personal essay in English that tells the admission committee about you, your educational background, and future plans.
  • Transcript : One copy of transcript in English.
  • Degree : One photocopy of degree(s) obtained in English. Current graduates may submit a copy after they receive the degree.
  • Recommendation Letters : 2 recommendation letters from different referees in English.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency : IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

We encourage DIKTI students to apply within the period of January 1 to April 10. DIKTI applicants to Taipei Tech AFTER the university’s application deadline of April 10 should follow the procedure below :

DIKTI Application to Taipei Tech: April 11 ~ June 10

Step 1 :

Fill out the online application form here :

Step 2 :

Under the Scholarship Section of the online application form, please select "Other Scholarships" and put in "DIKTI" in the blank for "Name of Scholarship".

Step 3 :

Note down the online application number and notify the admission officer via email to intstudy@ntut.edu.tw.

In the same email, scan and attach clear copies of the following documents as soon as possible :

  • Study Plan : Write and submit a minimum one-page personal essay in English that tells the admission committee about you, your educational background, and future plans.
  • Transcript : One copy of transcript in English.
  • Degree : One photocopy of degree(s) obtained in English. Current graduates may submit a copy after they receive the degree.
  • Recommendation Letters : 2 recommendation letters from different referees in English.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

Step 4 :

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. An academic year at Taipei Tech has 2 semesters :

  • First Semester (Fall Semester): September ~ January
  • Second Semester (Spring Semester): February ~ June

*New students are admitted to the Fall Semester only.

2. Prior to applying, check with DIKTI to ensure that the degree program you intend to undertake is sponsored by the scholarship scheme.
